Purpose of the Job: To manage the delivery of client objectives and targets within parameters of responsibility
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and manage a team of field sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and objectives
- Monitor and analyse sales performance and market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
- Conduct regular field visits to assess sales team performance, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and provide feedback and support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers to drive sales and increase market share
- Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless sales and distribution processes
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making

Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 1-2 Years previous people management experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in field sales management, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically, analyse data, and make informed decisions
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed
- Valid SA Driver’s license and own vehicle

My Journey
Mitchell's Plain, Cape Town, where I grew up, I never imagined I would be able to accomplish what I have in the last 15 years.
