Job Title: Category Space Planner
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Category Space Planner to join our team. The Category Space Planner will be responsible for strategically planning and executing the layout and design of retail spaces to optimize the overall shopping experience for customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product placement, category management, and consumer behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data, consumer trends, and market research to identify opportunities for category expansion and optimization.
- Develop category plans and space allocation strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between merchandise assortment, marketing initiatives, and store layout.
- Create visual merchandising guidelines and planograms to showcase products in an appealing and organized manner.
- Monitor and analyze category performance metrics to track progress and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and trends in retail space planning and design.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in category management, space planning, or retail merchandising.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in space planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative thinking and a keen eye for design.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
