Our client in the FMCG Foods industry is seeking a Quality Assurance Technologist to join them in Cullinan, Gauteng. The Supplier Quality Assurance Technologist is responsible for onboarding, maintaining, and monitoring raw material producers and suppliers for the company This role ensures the integrity and quality of the supply base through comprehensive Supplier Quality Assurance activities, including the collection and maintenance of documentation, risk assessments, supplier visits, audits, and ongoing monitoring and reporting.

Job Title: Supplier Quality Assurance Technologist
Geographical area: Cullinan, Gauteng
Salary range: R 16 000.00 - R 18 000.00 CTC pm

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Supplier and Raw Material Approval
Supplier documentation
Coordinate the supplier performance score system across company sites, incorporating raw material compliance
Compilation, maintenance and distribution of technical documentation
Supplier visits
Support factories during external audits
Internal auditing on animal welfare
New product development support
R&D Projects

Minimum qualifications and experience:

BSc or BConSci Food Sciences, Hospitality / Retail or agricultural supply chain
1 year working experience
FMCG experience will be advantageous
Own transport
