My client is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer based in Rivonia Johannesburg, with a fully in office work model.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer

· Extensive experience in software development

· Intrinsic passion for learning and self-development

· Experience using automated testing frameworks

· Knowledge of Java, Jakarta EE platform, and Spring Framework

· In-depth knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MsSQL)

· Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)

· Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

· Ability to work independently without supervision

· Excellent organizational and leadership skills

· Experience solving problems of varying complexity

· Understanding of the full project scope with ability to delegate tasks effectively

· Ability to experiment, test, validate assumptions, and connect dots to reach conclusions

· Strong project development perspective, suggesting optimal methods with market goals in mind
