Brief description

This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, scalability and enhanced performance of end user Computers, Networks, Servers, IT Security Systems and other critical components of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimization to continuously improve and keep up with the IT needs of the company. This role will also develop and maintain effective relationships between its internal and external stakeholders to help deliver seamless operational performance.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Mandatory:

·        National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

·        CompTIA Certifications (A+, N+, Security+ or Equivalent)

·        5+ years IT related work experience

·        Valid driver’s licence

Advantageous:

·        Relevant degree, diploma, certifications in IT or studying towards.

·        MikroTik Certifications (MTCNA & MTCRE)

·        SonicWall Certifications

Knowledge:

·        VMware

·        Microsoft Active Directory & Entra ID

·        Networking (Routing, Switching, Firewall, SDWAN, VPN)

·        Server hardware systems

·        Storage hardware systems

·        Server operating systems and software applications

·        CCTV
