This multinational Distribution organization is at the forefront of innovation and is in search of a skilled Cost Accountant to join their team. As a key member of their finance division, you will play a crucial role in optimising costs, driving strategy, enabling growth, ensuring financial operational excellence.

Duties:

• Analyse production costs, maintain standard costing models, and investigate cost variances.
• Support inventory valuation, physical stock counts, and ensure accurate cost capturing with operations teams.
• Prepare cost forecasts, assist with budgeting, and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
• Manage month-end processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee pricing structures and ensure alignment with margin targets, supporting the commercial team with accurate pricing data.

Education:

• Completed BCom Degree
• Studying towards CIMA will be highly beneficial

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 2 – 4 years minimum
