Ons klient is op soek na 'n noukeurige en pligsgetroue Voedselveiligheids- en FSC Beampte om by 'n gevestigde vervaardiger in die voedselverpakkingsbedryf aan te sluit. Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal verantwoordelik wees vir die waarborg van nakoming van voedselveiligheidsregulasies en standaarde, sowel as die toepaslike FSC - COC vereistes.

Hoof Verantwoordelikhede:

• Ontwikkel, implementeer en handhaaf voedselveiligheids- en FSC-beleide en prosedures.

• Voer gereelde inspeksies en ouditte van produksiegeriewe uit.

• Monitor PRP's soos klagtebestuur, spesifikasies.

• Analiseer duplikate van finale produkte en verpakkingsmateriaal.

• Werk saam met produksie- en kwaliteitsbeheerpersoneel om kwessies op te los.

• Lei personeel op in voedselveiligheidsprotokolle en -prosedures.

• Ondersoek gevalle van kontaminasie of afwykende produkte/materiaal en pas regstellende stappe toe.

• Bly op hoogte van regulasies, standaarde en beste praktyke.

• Alle algemene administratiewe pligte.

Vereistes:

• Graad in Voedselwetenskap, Voedselveiligheid, Mikrobiologie of soortgelyke veld.

• Minimum 3 jaar ondervinding in voedselverpakking, gehalteversekering of voedselveiligheid.

• Kennis van HACCP, GMP en verwante standaarde.

• Vaardig in Excel en Word.

• Uitstekende analitiese en probleemoplossingsvaardighede.

• Sterk kommunikasie- en interpersoonlike vaardighede.

• Vermoë om onafhanklik en in 'n span te werk.

Food Safety & FSC Officer

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Food Safety and FSC Officer to join a well-established manufacturer in the food packaging industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards, as well as applicable FSC - COC requirements.

📍 Location: Wynberg, Sandton
💰 Salary: R12 500
🕗 Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and FSC policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production facilities.

• Monitor PRPs such as complaints management and specifications.

• Analyze duplicates of final products and packaging materials.

• Collaborate with production and quality control staff to resolve issues.

• Train personnel on food safety protocols and procedures.

• Investigate incidents of contamination or non-compliant products/materials and implement corrective actions.

• Stay up to date with regulations, standards, and best practices.

• Perform all general administrative duties.

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in food packaging, quality assurance, or food safety.

• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and relevant standards.

• Proficient in Excel and Word.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
