A prestigious 4-star game lodge is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Junior Field Guide to join their guiding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified guide eager to gain experience in a high-end safari environment. The ideal candidate is professional, guest-focused, and has a genuine love for the bush.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting guided game drives and bush walks with a focus on guest experience and safety
• Sharing detailed knowledge of flora, fauna, and conservation practices
• Hosting and interacting with guests throughout their stay
• Assisting with basic vehicle checks and maintenance
• Supporting senior guides and lodge team as needed
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations

Requirements:

• FGASA Level 1 (minimum)
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Valid PDP and driver’s license
• DEAT registration 
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Professional, well-groomed, and guest-oriented
• A team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
