We are looking for an experienced Fibre Optic Splicing Technician to handle the installation, splicing, testing, and maintenance of fibre optic networks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in troubleshooting and network testing, ensuring high-quality and reliable connectivity. Attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently are key aspects of this role.

Requirements & Skills:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in fibre optic splicing, installation, and testing.
Technical certification in fibre optics (e.g., FOA, CFOT) is preferred.
Hands-on experience with OTDRs, power meters, and fusion splicers.
Strong understanding of fibre optic cabling standards and best practices.
Knowledge of aerial and underground fibre installations.
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy equipment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
Availability for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
