Purpose of Position:
Provide technical expertise in the cable accessory space (mainly). Develop and grow an existing EWSETA accredited Training Centre. Assist with the development and launch of new products. Review existing product offering and streamline with new designs. Conduct training both locally and internationally
Main Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Managing Director and management team to lead, develop, and grow the company (group of companies).
Establish strong client relationships and identify new clients from a training perspective.
Book and plan training courses, develop training centre as a standalone business unit,
Ensure all training materials, tools etc have been delivered to the client prior to commencement of training,
Ensure all training documentation is updated with the latest product offerings and industry best practices,
Identify and develop new product lines with the management team.
Assist with revision of existing products to ensure that they meet the requisite standards and the market needs.
Quality management to ensure training documentation and centre is ISO 9001 and EWSETA compliant.
Technical sales support for sales team.
Assist with revisions of installation instructions and bill of materials.
Will be required to travel for extended periods to conduct training and demonstrations.

Technical: Complete designs and make decisions based on experience, might need the management team’s input.

Candidate Requirements
Education:Tertiary Qualification, B.Eng, B.Tech Eng in Electrical would be beneficial.
MV and LV Cable Accessory qualification will be beneficial.
Accreditation with SETA as a Facilitator, Assessor and/or Moderator.
Matric Certificate is a minimum requirement, with strong performance in Maths and Science.
Experience:
Jointing and Terminating of MV cables is preferred (with suitable qualifications, this can be ignored).
Ideally has presented training courses before.
Other: A valid passport and driving license are critical, needs to be able to travel for extended periods.
Fluent English Strong Afrikaans and other languages will be beneficial
