Our client is looking for skilled Industrial Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible to support the companies' business activities as and when required and focuses on optimising processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality in manufacturing, production, or operational environments. The Industrial Engineer will also assist with engineering principles, data analysis, and project management techniques to optimise production workflows, reduce costs, and ensure quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

B.Eng degree in Industrial Engineering or B-Tech Degree in Industrial Engineering.
Graduate engineers with 2 – 5 years of experience will be considered as Industrial Engineers.
Previous experience in the military vehicle design environment would be greatly advantageous.
ERP Literate and Sage X3, Oodo and Syspro would be advantageous.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) would be advantageous.
Experience with ERP and MRP systems for production planning and material management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, production, and supply chain.

Skills

Computer Literacy: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Projects.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
A team player who is willing to assist the team on various aspects of the project, if required. o Innovative thinker, with attention to detail.
Ability to rapidly adapt to a changing environment and requirements.
Passionate, self-driven individual.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements

Able to work overtime as and when required.
