Senior Site Manager – Large-Scale Construction Project

A leading construction company is seeking a Senior Site Manager to take full responsibility for the successful management and delivery of a large building site in the Phisantekraal area of Cape Town.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Oversee daily operations and site activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
 
Manage subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure effective coordination and productivity.
 
Enforce health and safety compliance in line with national and company standards.
 
Liaise with project stakeholders, consultants, and clients to maintain strong communication and progress updates.
 
Monitor project milestones, report progress, and troubleshoot on-site challenges effectively.
 
 
Requirements:
 
Proven experience (8+ years) as a Site Manager on large-scale residential or commercial projects.
 
Relevant construction or engineering qualification.
 
Strong leadership and team management skills.
 
Solid knowledge of building regulations, health and safety protocols, and construction best practices.
 
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
 
Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Cape Town area.
