Hire Resolves client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cape Town. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in construction cost management and an eagerness to grow within the industry. You'll be involved in estimating project costs, compiling quantities, and preparing accurate quotations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with construction project costings and financial planning

• Measure and compile material quantities

• Prepare accurate quotations and tender documents

• Liaise with suppliers and contractors for pricing

• Track and manage project cost variations

• Support senior quantity surveyors and project managers

Requirements:

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field

• Solid understanding of construction principles and cost estimation

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other estimating tools

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work well within a team and independently
