Arrow is looking to hire an individual passionate about education and teaching to join the team as an Afrikaans Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging in class teaching including the academic, administrative, educational, and disciplinary aspects so that the education of the learners is prioritized effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Education qualification (Foundation Phase).
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with MS Office and web browsers.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication in English and Afrikaans.

DUTIES

• Plan and organise lessons, materials, activities and assessments that align with Arrow’s Dynamic Learning principles.
• Create individualised learning plans academic data.
• Plan intervention and enrichment classes.
• Integrate Arrow’s e-learning platform into lessons and activities.
• Marking, reporting and assessment analysis.
• Foster a conducive learning environment by applying Arrow’s values and a behaviour management system.
• Provide feedback to the department head about learners’ academics and behaviour.
• Inform parents about learners’ performance.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to meet your professional goals and deliver on Arrow’s core principles.
• Research new language teaching methods and maintain a high level of academic achievement.
