A renowned luxury game lodge is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the delivery of world-class guest experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a background in high-end lodge or hotel housekeeping operations.Location: Remote bush-based lodge (live-in position)Position Type: Full-time (including weekends and public holidays)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily operations across guest suites and public areas
• Supervise and support housekeeping team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Conduct regular room checks and ensure attention to detail
• Manage laundry operations and inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities
• Coordinate with other departments (front office, maintenance, and F&B) to ensure seamless guest service
• Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff
• Step into the Housekeeping Manager role when required

Requirements:

• 2–3 years' experience in a housekeeping supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in a 5-star lodge or hotel
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable working in a remote environment
• Hospitality qualification or housekeeping certification beneficial
