Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Fitter and Turner to join them in Johannesburg South, Gauteng. The successful candidate will have experience with CNC and Lathe machinery and have worked in heavy engineering manufacturing industry

Job Title: Fitter and Turner
Geographical area: Johannesburg South, Gauteng
Salary range: Market Related

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Fabricate, fit, assemble and modify parts and subassemblies to repair production machines
Operate CNC and Lathe and Milling machines to create parts according to specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate part fabrication
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure efficiency

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Matric
Trade Tested Fitter and Turner
2-5 years relevant industry experience
