Our client in Stellenbosch is looking for Quality Coordinator Assistant, Ideal candidate must have experience in Citrus.

Skills Required:
Knowledge of PPECB export standards and Produce export requirements. 
Knowledge of citrus quality defects, post-harvest diseases, physiological disorders and quality assessment. 
Knowledge of QX produce management system beneficial. 
Bilingual use of verbal and written Afrikaans and English, to effectively communicate with both producers and buyers. 
Strong administrative skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Backoffice products (Excel, Word, Outlook) with a 
willingness to explore new technology tools (like AI) to continuously improve processes. 
Communication and teamwork. 

Education Required:
B. Sc Agric, B. Sc Horticulture or equivalent qualification.
 
Experience required:
1-2 Years’ experience in perishables export quality and / or due diligence environment.

Responsibilities:
Maintain producer and packhouse accreditation database and folders
Establish and maintain MRL calculator database, lab report folders and Food Experts PPPL lists
Maintain client due diligence requirements or portals  
Effective handling and processing of quality feedback/information
Adherence to client fruit packing specification
