Overview & Key Responsibilities

As a General Duty Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our plant. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Housekeeping: Ensuring the plant is clean and well-maintained.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining equipment to meet established quality standards.
3. Forklift Operation: Ensuring the safe operation of forklifts.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of Grade 12/N3 Certificate.
• At least 2 years of experience in a heavy industry setting.
• Experience in a mechanical workshop environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical work activities.
• Familiarity with mechanical tools, equipment, and materials, including formal training in the safe use of hand tools.
• Understanding of safety procedures and practices.
• Willingness to work overtime and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
