Account Executive β Trade Credit
π Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape
π° Package: R450,000 CTC per annum (inclusive of benefits)
Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive β Trade Credit to manage client relationships, retain and grow a portfolio, and drive business expansion. This role requires excellent communication skills, a client-centric approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Β· Portfolio Management: Maintain and grow the book of business through new acquisitions, upselling, cross-selling, and retention.
Β· Client Engagement: Conduct regular interactions, document discussions, and provide expert advice on policies to safeguard client assets.
Β· Technical Broking & Support: Handle quotes, claims, policy endorsements, renewals, insurer negotiations, and general queries.
Β· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all documentation, FAIS requirements, and client records are accurate and up to date.
Β· Risk & Claims Management: Guide clients through claims processes, manage complaints effectively, and assist with risk survey improvements.
Β· Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to enhance communication and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Short Term Insurance: 3 to 4 years
- Short Term Trade Credit : 3 to 4 years
- Technical Broking Experience : 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Β· NQF4 Non-Life (Short-Term Insurance)
Β· RE5 Certification
Β· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (technical broking experience preferred)
Β· Strong knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements
Β· NQF5 Qualification
Β· Relevant degree
Β· FAIS-accredited (120 credits)
Β· Up-to-date with Class of Business, CPD, and product-specific training
