Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Chargehand to join their mining team based in Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities in the mining operation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Plan and schedule work assignments for the electrical team.
Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Perform inspections to identify and address potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment used.
Train and mentor electrical technicians.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

Grade 12
N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies.
Electrical Trade Test Certificate
5 years' experience working in a coal mine.
Flameproof and Gas Testing Certificate
Medium Voltage Certificate would be advantageous.
Experience/Knowledge on the following equipment: EMIS belt Drivers, 6,6KV & 22KV switching, feeder breaker, Shuttle car & Fletcher roof bolters, 12HM31 JNAII, and switch gear.
Valid driver's license.
