We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our client’s growing team. As a vertically integrated engineering, procurement, and construction company specializing in bespoke solar energy systems, they are dedicated to helping businesses across Africa achieve their energy goals.

Job Description:

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will lead the design of high-end solar systems, manage cost projections, estimate system production, and ensure robust operational performance. You will also contribute to the development of design tools and provide expert support to project managers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

·       Design renewable energy systems according to relevant regulations and standards.

·       Conduct site inspections for accurate project design and costing.

·       Perform calculations and documentation for utility approvals.

·       Simulate system performance accurately.

·       Approve designs and professionally sign-off plants for compliance.

Requirements:

·       PR Eng in Electrical Engineering.

·       Excellent computer literacy and design/visualization software skills.

·       Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
