Main Purpose of Position:

The main purpose of the HPE Product Manager is to manage and grow the HPE brand within the company by ensuring product knowledge, vendor compliance, marketing execution, and sales alignment. This includes obtaining relevant certifications, maintaining vendor relationships, overseeing brand administration and reporting, executing marketing initiatives, supporting sales teams, and driving business growth through strategic programs and partnerships. The role also focuses on optimizing internal processes, coordinating training for internal teams and partners, and ensuring alignment with the vendor's strategy to maximize market share and revenue.

KPA	PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
Product/ Programs/ Processes	Understand and represent the full HPE product stack Gain all related certifications over time Brand Administration, reporting, claims, pipeline, HPE portal hygiene etc. Understand pricing and price lists Contribute to Quartey Business Reviews with Vendor Vendor Relationship Management Training – Internal + Partners Vendor Compliance Ensure activities align with Vendor Strategy Understand vendor programs in detail. Present vendor programs to resellers. Drive growth in run rate & stock n sell business Work with all internal stakeholders to ensure smooth internal processes – update if any changes are initiated by the vendor or required for efficiency improvements.
Marketing	Work with Brand Manager on Marketing plan and execution. Quarterly Marketing Plan Drive Vendor Strategy Weekly/Monthly Mailers/Incentives etc Co-ordinate lead management and follow up after marketing activity · Drive FD/Brand Marketing Strategy · Own and maintain the marketing contact database
Sales	Align with vendor and brand sales strategy. Support all regional sales teams to grow their contribution to HPE. Design and execute sales plays. (Eg. Storage / Edge / Attach Alliances) Drive Alliance partnerships Analyse and grow run rate/stock and sell the business in all regions (JHB, CPT, DBN, Africa, etc..) · Increase customer breadth

Required Skills

Product Management: 3 to 4 years
Product Manager: 2 to 3 years

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Experience:

· 3- 5 years of previous Product Management experience in servers & storage products

· Technical Acumen

· distribution experience within the IT Industry

· Self-Motivated individual

· Strong Communication Skills.

· Strong Relationship and Self-Management Skills.

· Takes Initiative.

· Works well with all kinds of people.

· Remains calm under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

· Own car as well as a valid Drivers Licence

Office Requirements:

· Office-based working environment.

· Semi-formal dress code.

· Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00.

· Excellent international business language skills (English), both written and verbal.
