Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a full function accounting role
Strong knowledge of SARS compliance and VAT submissions
Excellent understanding of general ledger and reconciliations
Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
Experience in the mining or construction industry will be advantageous

Qualifications:

Completed BCom Degree in Accounting or related field
Diploma holders, with strong experience, are also welcome to apply
SAIPA articles completed, or in progress, will be beneficial

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and submit VAT and SARS returns
Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Support month-end processes and reporting
Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders
