Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
Manage the general ledger, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts and ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Support the senior finance team with audits and tax compliance.
Help streamline processes and assist with identifying opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
Assist with VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions.

Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential).
SAIPA/SAICA accreditation (essential).
2-3 years of experience in an accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with accounting software is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
