We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic, with strong expertise in generator maintenance and repairs, to join our client’s growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company that services a wide range of commercial, industrial, and remote clients.

As the preferred recruiter for this position, we’re looking for a motivated professional who takes pride in their work, delivers high standards, and has a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel engines and generator systems
Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on-site and in the workshop
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
Ensure that all work is completed to safety and compliance standards
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Occasionally travel to client sites (travel allowance provided where applicable)

Requirements:

Trade Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent) – Essential
Proven experience working with diesel generators (all sizes and brands)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills (mechanical and electrical)
Valid driver’s licence (HR desirable)
Ability to work independently and within a team
Excellent communication and time management skills
Commitment to safety and quality
