Our client in the Steel Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Production Foreman to join them in Germiston, Gauteng. The successful candidate will have experience working in a unionised environment and managing 30 staff. There are shifts. Excellent quality management is required for this role.

Job Title: Production Foreman
Geographical area: Germiston, Gauteng
Salary range: R 30 000.00 – R 40 000.00 Basic salary + benefits

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Schedule and supervise production workers
Inspect finished product
Maintain production records
Optimize production processes
Conduct safety briefings
Train new staff and provide continuous training and support
Labor relations

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Matric
Diploma in Production management / mechanical engineering or equivalent
3-5 years experience in Production management
Willing and able to work shifts
