An opportunity for a Technical IFRS Accountant.

One of the world’s largest mining companies is seeking a highly skilled and driven Technical IFRS Accountant to join their Finance team. This is a pivotal opportunity to work at the forefront of technical accounting across a complex, multinational group.

Duties:

Providing expert guidance on the application and interpretation of IFRS standards across the group.
Researching, evaluating, and implementing new and amended IFRS standards and ensuring consistent group-wide compliance.
Preparing high-quality technical accounting papers and briefing senior stakeholders, including group finance leadership and external Auditors.
Supporting the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Assisting with internal training on IFRS development

Education and Experience:

CA(SA)
At least 2 years post-articles experience
