Our client, a large consulting/construction company with offices across South Africa, is looking for a Senior Highways Engineer to join their growing team in Cape Town/Johannesburg!

What you will need:

·        Minimum B. Eng / B. Tech Engineering Civil

·        Minimum 5 to 10 years post graduate experience in Civil Engineering design

·        Competent in AutoCAD Civil 3D

·        Experience in Infraworks, Navisworks, AutoTurn, Bill would be beneficial

·        Experience in the following common data environment platforms would be beneficial, ProjectWise, SharePoint, AutoDesk Docs and BIM360

·        Professionally registered with ECSA

Your responsibilities will include:

• Geometric design, experience in Metropolitan, Provincial and National roads
• Stormwater design
• Road Marking and Signage design
• Tender Documentation and Specifications
• Project Management and Client liaison and co-ordination
• Experience in Pavement design and contract administration would be beneficial.
