Our client is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their dynamic team, focusing on water and wastewater treatment design and implementation. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects while providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

Key Responsibilities

·        Execute detailed process design of water and wastewater treatment systems

·        Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members

·        Participate in business development activities, including client presentations

·        Conduct process, audit, and feasibility studies for new and existing facilities

·        Evaluate process modifications and size plant equipment according to requirements

·        Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs)

·        Lead cold and hot commissioning activities for new treatment plants

Requirements

·        Engineering degree or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering

·        Minimum 7 years' experience in water and wastewater process engineering

·        Demonstrated competency in water technology and resources

·        Professional registration with ECSA preferred (must be registerable within 1 year if not registered)

·        Experience in process design, equipment sizing, and systems selection

·        Proven track record in water/wastewater treatment plant design

·        Experience with advanced water treatment technologies (MBR, UF, RO)

·        Knowledge of pump station design

·        Proficiency in AutoCAD P&ID, BIM360, ACC or similar

·        Experience with BioWin modeling software

·        Workflow automation experience (Dynamo, C#, Python programming)
