Our client is looking for a Senior Electrician to join their team in Cape Town, WC. The ideal candidate will be a trade-tested professional with a Wireman’s License and be registered with the relevant Electrical Board, capable of signing off Certificates of Compliance (COCs) independently. This is a senior-level role suited for someone who can work unsupervised while collaborating with apprentices and other team members when required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in household, commercial, and industrial environments

• Work with both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems

• Issue Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for completed work

• Lead and mentor apprentices or junior team members when necessary

• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

• Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure efficient project delivery

Requirements:

• Trade-Tested Electrician (Red Seal)

• Wireman’s License

• Registered with the Western Cape Electrical Board

• Proven ability to issue COCs independently

• Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Experience with solar installations would be advantageous
