Job Title: Contract Manager – Construction Sector

Hire Resolve’s client a well-established leading property development company is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing contract execution, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and managing key stakeholder relationships throughout the construction lifecycle.

Responsibilites:

• Oversee and manage construction contracts to ensure compliance with project scope, budget, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor contract performance, resolve disputes, and enforce contractual obligations.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide regular progress reports and risk assessments to senior management.
• Manage documentation, including contract variations, claims, and project closeout reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract management within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and project management principles.
• Ability to handle negotiations and resolve contractual disputes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in relevant construction and contract management software is an advantage.
• Must be available for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Johannesburg.
