GAUTENG SUIWELVERSPREIDERS, situated in Olifanfantsfontein is a Distribution Depot in the Dairy Industry that handles the distribution of dairy products and fruit juices on behalf of Darling Romery (Pty ) Ltd.

The company offers this career opportunity to a dedicated and task-driven Distribution Manager: Fleet

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate must have:

•Matric. An appropriate post-school qualification will be to your advantage.

•Have sound practical experience in managing a Cold Store with FMCG stock that includes dairy products in a Distribution environment.

•Have good communications skills and the ability to act in an assertive manner

•Advanced computer skills (Eg Sage X3, Pastel, MS Office, Excel etc.)

•Good Planning, Organising and general Management Skills

•Excellent Administrative Skills. Neat, Organised and Accurate

You will be responsible for:

•Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.

•Manage fleet, drivers and assistants

•Monitor fuel consumption and maintenance of trucks,

•Route planning and controlling.

• Plan and check product deliveries to meet customer requirements and deadlines.

• Resolve logistical issues and address any delays or disruptions in delivery.

• Complete daily stock counts to minimize product shortages and damages.

• Ensure FIFO & FEFO process is followed and communicate with management.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.

• Analyse logistics data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Coordinate with other departments, such as telesales to ensure alignment of goals and service delivery.

• Provide support and assistance to the logistics manager as needed
