Our client, operating in the agricultural industry, has an opportunity for a dynamic Financial Manager to join their team based in the Witzenberg area (Western Cape).

The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated and disciplined individual who has the ability to take initiative and work independently. In addition, the incumbent should possess excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

The candidate will report to the Board of Directors. Responsibilities will include: *Preparing and presenting financial reports *Financial analysis of operations to identify trends and improve performance *Preparing and submitting annual budgets *Overseeing the insurance portfolio to ensure effective risk management *Managing the administrative team *Implementing and monitoring internal financial controls processes *Supporting the preparation of annual financial statements for separate legal entities *all other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Relevant degree in Accounting or Financial Management;

• 5-8 years’ experience, preferably in an agricultural environment;

• Excellent computer skills, specifically MS Excel and Accounting Software;

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally to production units.
