An Exciting Opportunity for a Head Office Accountant in Cape Town Central.

Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is on the lookout for a Head Office Accountant to join their team and play a pivotal role in managing their financial operations. Duties:

Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with IFRS and company standards. You’ll provide valuable insights into the financial health of the business and help drive strategic decisions.
Lead the month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies to maintain the integrity of the financial statements.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and monitor budgets.
Help track actual performance against forecasts, providing commentary on variances and offering solutions for optimisation.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
- A newly qualified Chartered Accountant.
Experience:
- Experience in auditing within the automotive or retail industries: This is a pivotal requirement as the role requires an understanding of the nuances and challenges specific to these sectors.
