Urgently looking for a Group Transformation Office Finance Manager!!!!!

This concern is looking for a Transformation Office Finance Manager on a 12 months contract basis who will be responsible for the strategic allocation of investment resources to ensure the successful execution of transformation initiatives. This includes providing detailed business case analysis, alongside tracking financial metrics to evaluate the ongoing performance of the transformation, ensuring that budgetary constraints are met and financial objectives are achieved.
 
Additionally, the role involves identifying potential financial risks or deviations from the budget and taking proactive steps to mitigate these risks. This requires close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that resource allocation is optimized, and that financial risks are flagged and addressed in a timely manner to keep the transformation on track and within financial expectations.
 

The key responsibilities for this role will include:
 

• Works with Transformation Leadership to translate aspirations into financial targets
• Supports Workstream Sponsors and Workstream Leads in setting overall transformation targets and overseeing appropriate resource allocation
• Works with Workstream Leads to translate overall targets into specific KPIs for initiatives
• Supports the initiative owners in the financial assessment of their initiatives
• Provides coaching and help for initiative owners to build their business case
• Reviews and approves business cases as appropriate
• Tracks and validates the financial impact of the overall transformation and ensures risks are appropriately addressed
• Liaises with Workstream Sponsors and financial personnel to ensure consistent data collection and analysis for each initiative
• Performs financial tracking of progress against commitments (both revenue generation and cost savings) ensuring the Transformation drives cash impact
• Segregates the financial impact of initiatives from baseline performance
• Highlights developing financial trends which could hinder or accelerate financial impact
• Performs trend analysis to forecast future monthly impacts and compare against monthly financial goals
• Makes recommendations to Senior Leaders and Workstream Leads to resolve emerging issues or take advantage of positive trends
• Anticipates and recommends solutions for financial issues that arise
• Engages in dialogue regarding financial impact of the transformation more broadly
• Liaises with the wider Finance function within the group to understand overall business performance

 
 
As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential.
 
The requirements:
 
 
Qualification:
 

• CA(SA), ACCA or equivalent

 
Experience:
 

• Expertise in financial planning, forecasting and analysis
• Experience in creating financial models and projections to assess viability of initiatives

 
 
Skills Required:

• Auditing skills
