Our client, a leading manufacturer in the transformer industry, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in transformer design, testing, and manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of high-quality power solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize power and distribution transformers according to industry standards.
Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with electrical specifications and quality standards.
Conduct electrical testing, fault analysis, and performance evaluations on transformers.
Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and resolve technical challenges.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and international transformer standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.).
Assist with product development and innovation within transformer technology.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in transformer manufacturing, design, and testing.
Strong knowledge of insulation systems, winding techniques, and core design.
Experience with simulation software and electrical design tools.
Understanding of industry standards (IEC, IEEE, and SANS).
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues in a manufacturing environment.
