Job Purpose:

This role focuses on selling tailored insurance solutions to clients within the home-buying market. The Sales Consultant will leverage strategic industry affiliations to engage potential customers, providing expert guidance and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound calls to potential clients who have recently purchased properties.
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients by handling inquiries and follow-ups.
Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to address client questions and objections.
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs consistently.
Work collaboratively with the sales team to refine strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge through training and professional development.
Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance sales processes and customer engagement.

Required Skills

Insurance Sales: 1 to 2 years

Candidate Requirements

Experience

Proven experience in short-term and/or long-term insurance sales within a call center environment.
Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a high-volume, target-driven setting.
Expertise in outbound sales, cold calling, and objection handling.
Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends when required.

Skills & Attributes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Strong time management and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Enthusiastic about leveraging technology to enhance sales and customer experience.

Educational Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) required; tertiary education is an advantage.
RE5 and FAIS qualifications are required if the candidate has been registered as a short-term or long-term advised selling representative for more than two years.

Working Conditions

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with extended hours as needed.
Occasional Saturday shifts (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) upon request.
Required to work at least four days per week in the Pretoria office.
At least one late shift per week (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
