Purpose of the Role: To oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service, quality control, staff management, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including shift planning, cash-ups, stock control and supplier coordination
- Maintain service excellence and guest satisfaction through team training, quality control and smooth front-of-house and banqueting service
- Ensure venue upkeep, respond to emails from directors and clients, manage customer feedback and promote wine sales through expert recommendations
- Maintain an updated wine list, manage cellar stock and train staff on wine knowledge and pairing etiquette
- Proven experience in a similar upmarket restaurant in a wine / hospitality estate environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on service approach and passion for guest experience
- Excellent knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards, POS systems and stock control processes
- Solid wine knowledge with the ability to guide and train staff in delivering elevated service and sales
