Hoof Verantwoordelikhede

🛠️ Beplanning en Installasie

• Skeduleer voorkomende instandhouding vir produksietoerusting

• Beplan herstelwerk en werksopdragte vir interne personeel en kontrakteurs

• Verseker tydige installasie en inbedryfstelling van nuwe toerusting

📦 Materiaal- en Voorraadbestuur

• Verseker beskikbaarheid van korrekte parte en verbruiksmateriaal

• Onderhou kritiese partelyste vir onderskeie toerusting

👷 Arbeids- en Kontrakteurbestuur

• Werk saam met die Instandhoudingstoesighouer om voldoende vaardige personeel te verseker

• Bestuur dissipline, nakoming van wetgewing, en kontrakteuraktiwiteite

📈 Toerusting, Verslae en Verbetering

• Onderhou toerusting in werkende toestand en beheer toegang

• Verskaf maandlikse toerustingbenuttingsyfers aan Operasionele Bestuurder

• Werk aan verbetering en minimalisering van stilstand

🧾 SHEQ en Regulatoriese Nakoming

• Verseker voldoening aan OHSA en Maatskappybeleid

• Fokus op hysapparaat- en druktoerustingregistrasie en diens

Posvereistes

✔️ Skoolopleiding: Matriek met Wiskunde
✔️ Kwalifikasie: Graad of Kwalifikasie in Meganiese Ingenieurswese
✔️ Ervaring:

• 10 jaar instandhoudingservaring (hidroliese stelsels, hyskrane, ketels, kompressors)

• 5 jaar toesighoudende ervaring in vervaardiging

✔️ SAP en MS Office vaardighede
✔️ Basiese administrasie- en finansiële insig

We’re seeking a highly experienced and proactive Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our technical team in Brakpan. This role demands exceptional planning skills, technical equipment knowledge, and strong collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

🛠️ Planning & Installation

• Schedule preventive maintenance for production equipment

• Plan and assign work to staff and contractors for repairs

• Manage the installation and commissioning of new equipment

📦 Materials Management

• Ensure correct parts and consumables are available

• Maintain critical spare lists for each equipment type

👷 Labour & Contractor Oversight

• Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure skilled manpower

• Enforce legal compliance and contractor discipline

• Manage contractor SHEQ adherence

📈 Equipment, Reporting & Improvement

• Maintain operational integrity of all equipment

• Provide monthly equipment utilization reports to Operations Manager

• Focus on minimizing breakdowns and continuous improvement projects

🧾 SHEQ & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to OHSA and company quality systems

• Oversee lifting equipment and pressure vessel compliance

Minimum Requirements

✔️ Education: Matric with Mathematics
✔️ Qualification: Graduate or Certified Mechanical Engineer
✔️ Experience:

• 10 years in maintenance (hydraulics, cranes, boilers, compressors)

• 5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing
