As the Sr. Marketing Content Specialist, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our client's content strategy, ensuring that client’s voice stands out in the adtech industry to reach and engage our target audiences. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, you’ll craft compelling, high-quality content that supports our client's marketing, sales, and thought leadership efforts. These include blogs, case studies, one-sheets, messaging, social, and downloadable content for lead generation. You have an understanding of the adtech industry, including programmatic advertising, SSPs, DSPs, and CTV, and can translate complex concepts into clear, engaging content.
Responsibilities:
● Work diligently to understand client’s offerings, products distinction in our market.
● Create blog posts, one-sheets, whitepapers, leadership articles, sales collateral, downloadable lead generation content, and social media content that embody client’s values and uniqueness.
● Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
● Gain a profound understanding of adtech and our industry and use your knowledge to create engaging, original and pertinent content.
● Transform technical adtech concepts into engaging narratives for different buyer personas.
● Manage and update website content using HubSpot CMS, ensuring pages are optimized for SEO, user experience, and brand consistency.
● Create and execute impactful social media posts and marketing collateral tailored to different buyer personas.
● Develop product-specific messaging for email campaigns, landing pages, events, and digital campaigns.
● Monitor adtech industry trends and position our client as a thought leader.
● Collaborate closely with sales and product teams to create content that supports lead generation and customer acquisition.
● Track content performance metrics within Hubspot and iterate based on engagement, conversions, and industry trends.
● Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in marketing strategies and tactics to maintain a competitive edge.
● Communicate regularly with senior management and key stakeholders to provide updates on marketing initiatives, gather data and align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
Required Skills
- Hubspot: 2 to 3 years
- Adtech: 1 to 2 years
- Content Specialist: 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
● A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
● 3+ years of experience in content marketing, product marketing, or PR within media, advertising, or publishing—at least 1 year in adtech.
● Knowledge of adtech, including programmatic advertising, CTV, header bidding, and data-driven ad solutions.
● Strong writing, storytelling, and editorial skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
● Proficiency in HubSpot and other relevant marketing platforms.
● Experience with SEO best practices and analytics tools to measure content performance.
● A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can own projects from start to finish and work independently.
● Highly organized and agile - can own and tackle big challenges with energy, drive, and dedication.
● Schedule is Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:30pm EST
