Duties:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in the crypto/Web3 space, including tracking crypto transactions, wallet balances, and smart contract operations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards while navigating the complexities of blockchain transactions.
• Track and reconcile transactions in crypto wallets, exchanges, and DeFi protocols to ensure transparency and accuracy.
• Monitor volatility in crypto assets and reflect those changes in the company’s accounting systems, ensuring no coins are left behind!
• Stay on top of evolving regulatory frameworks surrounding cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 to ensure that the company remains fully compliant in a rapidly changing legal landscape.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Qualifications:
  • CA(SA) qualification.
• Experience:
  • Proven exposure to the Crypto/Web3 space – either through your own investments, personal projects, or previous work exposure.
  • A keen interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, decentralized finance (DeFi), and Web3 technologies.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, especially in the areas of financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
