Our client is a leading engineering consultancy specializing in building services, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for a wide range of commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Building Services and HVAC to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within building services. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical building services systems, with a focus on HVAC, ventilation, and heating systems.
Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and performance assessments.
Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and sustainability standards.
Work closely with Architects, Electrical Engineers, and Project Managers to coordinate designs.
Provide technical expertise and support during project execution.
Identify and troubleshoot system issues and recommend effective solutions.
Stay updated with advancements in building services and HVAC technologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum number of years’ experience in building services and HVAC engineering.
Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and IES).
Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, CIBSE, and LEED).
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders effectively.
