Our client, a distinguished organisation within the Telecommunications sector, is seeking a Finance and Compliance Accountant to join their team. This role requires a highly skilled financial professional with a strong foundation in IFRS, compliance, taxation, and financial reporting, as well as experience in handling large financial volumes and general ledger management.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with statutory requirements.
Oversee taxation, VAT submissions, and related compliance matters.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee financial transactions.
Assist with internal and external audit processes, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.

Key Requirements:

A completed Honours Degree in Accounting.
Successfully completed SAICA articles.
3-4 years of financial experience within a relevant industry.
Prior audit exposure in ICT or Telecommunications is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to financial accuracy and compliance.
