We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Western Cape.

Role: Project Acquisition and Development Manager

Industry: Renewable Energy

Level: Mid to Senior (3-8 years experience)

Key Requirements:

•           Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Legal, Commercial, or Technical disciplines.

•           3-8 years of professional experience in Environmental, Project Development, Engineering companies, or consulting firms, preferably within Renewable Energy.

•           Strong experience in permitting of projects.

•           Solid understanding of power markets, particularly renewable energy.

•           Working knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements, interconnection agreements, and EPC contracts is a plus.

•           Basic knowledge of business fundamentals and financial analysis.

•           Knowledge of Renewable Energy Development Regulatory Framework in South Africa.

•           Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and presentation software.

•           Skills in Project Acquisition, Project Structuring, Project Finance, Tender Management, and Legal Competency.
