The Senior Marketing Coordinator is to enhance the brand presence and marketing initiatives of MORE Family Collection and associated properties as a premier collection of luxury boutique safari lodges and hotels. This role focuses on strategic supplier management, detailed project management and coordination, internal communication, and ensuring consistent brand representation across all channels within the Marketing team.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
Supplier and Strategic Partner Management:
- Evaluate and manage relationships with strategic partners and suppliers, ensuring alignment with MORE Family Collection's purpose, values, and B-BBEE business strategy.
- Coordinate projects with external agencies and vendors to deliver high-quality marketing materials.
- Manage and develop key contracts/SOP’s for key suppliers
- Conduct weekly engagements with property teams to assess and report on local marketing activities.
- Facilitate seamless communication between the support office and individual properties to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Facilitate seamless communication internally between departments
- Stay informed about local and global market trends, as well as competitor activities.
- Share insights with the marketing team to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure a cohesive approach across all marketing and guest touchpoints, maintaining consistent brand messaging and quality.
- Implement and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring effective allocation and tracking of marketing expenditures.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, ensuring they meet brand standards and are delivered on time.
- Act as the brand gatekeeper, managing the hierarchy of the MORE Family Collection brand and its relationship to individual properties.
- Handle trademark management and renewal processes.
- Develop and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contracts, including terms and conditions and model release forms.
- Provide consistent brand direction for marketing campaigns and materials to the broader marketing team.
- Manage imagery and brand styling to ensure consistency and alignment with brand identity.
- Collaborate with the Interiors team to incorporate and manage brand elements within properties within the marketing team.
- Develop key project plans aligned to business strategies to ensure continuity throughout the year
- Manage, implement and change projects based on shifting priorities and revenue opportunities
- Ensure continuity through the marketing department and align all channels to deliver a single, core message
- Outline key process issues within project plans and develop new strategies to ensure efficiencies within the greater business
- Develop and build effective briefing templates (creative briefs) that ensure maximum project efficiency
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role; experience in the tourism and hospitality industry is advantageous.
- Advanced computer literacy with knowledge of the digital landscape.
- Driver’s license and own transport are advantageous.
- Strategic and analytical thinking with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and ownership.
