We require an Operations Manager for a pharmaceutical company in Cape Town. You will manage the complete lifecycle of pharmaceutical production and packaging, ensuring products are manufactured and packaged in a safe, efficient, and quality-driven manner.

- BPharm Degree
- At least 12 - 15 years experience in a pharma manufacturing and packaging environment
- Registered at the Pharmacy Council
- Suitable and relevant manufacturing qualifications
- Solid understanding of manufacturing planning
- Exposure and experience with pharma manufacturing process
- Auditing experience
- Experience in planning and scheduling production activities.
- Experiencing in examining and updating operations and procedures and updating relevant GMP documentation
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating production plans to ensure monthly capacity planning an schedules are on track
- Managing staff performance
- Supervising quality control measures,
- Ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards
- Driving continuous improvement in efficiency and compliance
- Compiling data for reporting
- Auditing and signing off batch manufacturing records
- Coordinating with other departments
- Conduct functional risk assessments
- Addressing any production or quality issues
- Investigating non-conformances and out-of-specification
- Compiling user requirement specifications
- Ensure products are packed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practise
- Exercising strict control over Scheduled Substances in the operational areas
