Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consolidations and Reconciliations: Prepare and manage the consolidation of financial statements and perform regular reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Financial Statements: Prepare month-end, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and ensure that they align with company objectives.
• Systems Management: Utilize SAP and Xero to streamline accounting processes, manage transactions, and monitor financial data.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in financial operations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to streamline workflows and ensure accurate reporting.

Experience and Skills Required:

• A relevant Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional Qualification: SAIPA (South African Institute of Professional Accountants) registered.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role, with exposure to consolidations, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

 
Skills Required:

• Proficient in SAP and Xero.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Experience in handling financial statements for multiple entities.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to handle large volumes of data with accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively with others and collaborate across departments.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
