Attend meetings with professional teams (architects, engineers, contractors) on various property development projects.
Prepare and review feasibility studies for upcoming projects.
Conduct cost planning, cost estimation, and financial control of projects.
Prepare and manage tender documents and assist with contractor procurement processes.
Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Provide guidance on procurement strategies and contract management.
Assist with project valuations, assessments, and progress reporting.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Provide support to the wider team in day-to-day operations of the company’s projects.
Contribute to the overall development of the business through strategic input and support.

A minimum of 5 years of working experience in quantity surveying.
Preferably accredited degree, diploma, or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
Proven practical work experience, including experience in property development projects.
Ability to pass the professional ability test for registration with the South African Council for Quantity Surveyors (SACQS).
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgeting, and project cost management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and client interactions.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
A proactive, flexible approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with various project management and quantity surveying software is a plus.
