Our client, a leading company in the mining sector, is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in mining operations, eager to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems in mining operations.
Ensure compliance with mining regulations and industry standards for electrical and control systems.
Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Develop and review engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Oversee the commissioning, calibration, and testing of instrumentation and control systems.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize plant performance and reliability.
Implement and maintain automation and SCADA systems for process control.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Instrumentation Engineering.
3+years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within the mining industry.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and process control systems.
Proficiency in electrical design software such as EPLAN, AutoCAD, or similar.
Experience with field instrumentation, sensors, and actuators in a mining environment.
Familiarity with mining safety regulations and standards.
