Job Description:
A well-established law firm seeks a motivated Candidate Attorney to join our dynamic team. This role offers hands-on experience in various areas of law under the mentorship of experienced attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft legal documents, including contracts and pleadings.
• Conduct legal research to support cases.
• Attend client meetings and assist with legal strategies.
• Support litigation, transactional work, and dispute resolution.
• Maintain case files and client records.
• Appear in court for procedural matters under supervision.
• Assist with administrative tasks.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
• LLB degree (completed or in final year).
• Admitted or undergoing legal practical training (if applicable).
• Knowledge of South African law and legal procedures.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
Additional Requirements:
• Own transport and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Previous legal experience is a plus.
